Engine and transmission tuning modifies the factory calibration, which can flag the vehicle during dealership diagnostics (TD1 flag). If you have an active warranty, we recommend discussing this with us. In some cases, we offer specific software solutions that prioritize reliability while minimizing dealership visibility, though any powertrain modification carries warranty risks.
Gains depend entirely on your engine platform (naturally aspirated vs. turbocharged) and modifications. A standard Stage 1 tune on a modern turbocharged engine can increase power by 15-25%. We provide realistic, data-backed estimates before starting any work.
We specialize in custom calibrations tested and refined on our in-house dynamometer. While we have established base files for common platforms, every car is datalogged and adjusted specifically for local fuel quality and hardware condition.
A standard ECU or TCU calibration takes between 2 to 4 hours, including pre-tuning health checks, dyno runs, datalogging, and final verification. Custom hardware builds require a specific timeframe discussed during consultation.
Our performance tunes are specifically calibrated for premium fuel (98 RON minimum). Using lower-octane fuel can lead to pulling timing and reduced performance, though the ECU will adapt to prevent knock.
